SENIOR CLASS
DESIGN PROJECT
SAN JOSE STATE UNIVERSITY
Overview
The senior design class projects are both all connected thematically and tell a story of personal development from the start to finish of the semester. Our professor was focused on making sure we understood who we are, what makes us that, and what matters most to us as individuals. We were tasked with conquering the question, what makes me unique and what do I want to do with that uniqueness?
Project One
"Journey" The long format folded card. How would you describe your journey? Now... How would you draw it?
For this card I designed what I felt my personal journey through life has been, not focusing on too many specifics but with more ambiguous figures.

Project Two
Personal intention and calendar poster. Task was to identify with a natural pattern that associated with your personality and discover a question that evokes and reflects your being as a designer. For the actual poster we needed to intertwine our questions with our discovered patterns and combine with it all together with a unique type of calendar.
Project 03
This project was one that simulated team design scenarios in learning to work with different personalities as well as different designers with varying styles. The challenge was to create a brand with a mission, website, and exhibit/product proposal.
This project we found to be incredibly successful by peers in the class and the professor who entered it in a contest in which our designs places second.
